I think that loan modification just make damn good sense. I mean it is cheap to put in place compared to the other alternatives and it also has the cheapest opportunity costs if something goes wrong and the Homeowner is unable to pay. I just do not see why a loan modification is not more automatic...I really don't. I mean it is one thing when home prices are soaring and folks just were not going into foreclosure with out refinancing three times prior already. But today amongst the economic turmoil plummeting value on everything why not refinance and especially with the lender incentive given by Obama in the making home affordable loan modification program...It only makes sense to modify. The <a href="http://www.hopenhousing.org" title="Make Home Affordable" rel="nofollow"> Plan is well thought out and I think it is time for the lenders to step up to bat!
